Expand Images is a WP Plugin that works with the thumbnail or images which are linked to original image source.
If you Install Expand Images WP Plugin then to view its effect you can simply add “thumbnail” of image in your Posts/Pages linking to its original source.

First off great plug-in. A friend of mine had it on her site and it looks amazing. However I ran into a problem of my own. I downloaded the plug-in and extracted it to the correct location, /wp-content/plugins/ .. I also activated it on wordpress. But when link the graphic to it’s orginal location as stated in the installation information it won’t work. All it’s doing for me is when I click on it it’s opening a new page with the picture. Do you have any suggestions, maybe im doing something wrong? Thanks!

Please go to WordPress Dashboard
click “Plugins” on sidebar > click “Editor” (sub-menu)
In this Page, you will see
"Select plugin to edit:"Drop Down ListChoose “Expand Images” and click “Select” Button
Modify the following in editor
On Line Number 13 AND 15: you will see
href="add your WordPress Blog Url like
href="http://example.com/blogPlease note
href=".On Line Number 21: you will see
src='add your WordPress Blog Url like
src='http://example.com/blogPlease note
src='.Replace Example.com & Blog with your site & Blog’s Directory. Dont modify anything else.
Note: This is only for site of Lindsie or those who have setup WordPress in different directory with plugin “Expand Images 0.4″ or lower.
New Update will fix this.

You can disregard the previous comment I just tried to post.
I did find what I was looking for and updated the correct info with my domain and etc. It’s still not working. If you have time can you check out my example page? lindsielee.com/blog/?page_id=1386 <— I've done everything you told me. Thanks.

Please create an account (go to wordpress>Dashboard>Users>Add New “email> anupofuniverse AT gmail DOT com”)

Hi
I spent the last 3 hours trying to get your plugin to work. I can’t. I used 2 blogs, one is a blank one.
I then did an extreme experiment. I used your own source codes (this very page that I’m writing) to create a test html file. This is possible because all of your source codes are absolute address. So all the .js files, the .css files etc. can be accessed without me having to rewrite the source codes.
But the amazing thing is that: It still doesn’t work. The little plus sign (the trade mark of highslide) when user put mouse on the photo never appeared. All I can get is the handsign mouse. And onclick it goes to the real big image, not like the ‘expanded image’.
Can you offer some help?

Hi there,
Brilliant plug in. But i have a question. Is it possible to exclude an image from the expand feature?
If this could be done it would be perfect. I have images that i have made a thumbnail but i do not want people to be able to expand.

If you don’t want the thumbnail of the image to expand then just remove the anchor link for the thumbnail.
This means don’t link the thumbnail with anchor
<a> </a>tag to any other image.
